NOTE: Tina, this turned out to be not a silly love song, but merely, a SILLY SONG!

I wish you had not carried my black cat,
and caressed him like you lived with him too,
for days of a thousand and twenty-two.

Just someone with an intention to stay
for one more summer gets the right to pay
attention to things I care for like Cat.

Chorus:
Just letís go straight to the subject.
I donít think thereís need for special effects,
just letís go straight to the subject,
then let us quickly disconnect.

My heart ainít stone it melts when you listen
to my records you say you also love
and often play, and always in awe of.

I had let you in my house, eat my food,
but donít you memorize the neighborhood
later when I would have to walk you out.

So when I let you in my houseÖ

Chorus:
Just letís go straight to the subject.
I donít think thereís need for special effects,
just letís go straight to the subject,
then let us quickly disconnect.

Just letís go straight to our subject.
I donít think thereís need for special effects.
What are we, an art project?
Címon, just letís go straight to our subject,
and let us quickly disconnectÖ

Öand let us quickly disconnectÖ

Öand let us quickly disconnectÖ

Aries .. it is a joy to read you again and know you've still got that gentle touch I enjoy so much. Silly? I don't see it as such .. a melancholy with a gentle reproach or perhaps an objective observation which melts into subjective?

And it is my honor to be read by you. Glad to hear I still got what could be called my trademark, gentleness and melancholy. I tried hard to write something upbeat and fun, and I still end up writing this, so I think I must settle down here. :-)

Peters Love song
Good to read you again. I did see 'my heart' in one verse. Not as per the rules but I didn't want to miss it. Good work!
