Do you still visit these hallowed halls?
This gallery of me

A whole wing dedicated
to our history

A whole wing under construction
waiting for the next

I like to think
your eyes still tour here
your heart still holding on a little
making sure mine is too

Ensuring these thoughts
haven't decayed

There are songs
I've archived
never to echo down these walls and corridors
never to meet you eagerly
a guided tour through pain and joy

Here now you'll find stuffed replicas
emotions sewn together from synthetics
to appear as we'd like to imagine them

Plaquards eloquently describing
what must have been

Grand displays of light and sound
plotting stars in your eyes

I love the stars in your eyes
I loved the stars in your eyes
I love the stars I imagine in your eyes

A bitter replica
battles that took place
miniature plastic souls
with spears aimed at past hearts
arms wide open

I like to think
you still visit here
hoping to see
that you are still on display
the prime exhibit

"No worries."
