The World Cheers as Obama Wins Again......

Donald Trump is doing fine
for he can hold his nerve
He cast his hook with CNN
they got what they deserve
Obama he then lost the battle
was forced to show his Birth
He dared not mention Donald
twas more than he was worth

Donald aint no president
but must have lots of luck
Still has loadsa money now
(for all the girls he took)
Nations would be worried
If Donald was the boss
Compared to pussy Obama
haha then who would gives a toss

Donald he would use the power
to put his Americans first
Then all the other countries
would end up for the worse
So please Obama win again
for our sake take your path
Don’t know where you’re going
But it’ll give us all a laugh

The whole world will be mocking
can you do nothing right
Back since World War 2 though
Has America “Won” any fight ?

If you listen to me long enough I can lower your IQ

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I've got most of it left.

Carnival Barker for President
Gotta grin a liattle with this poem, Obama, whom I like a LOT, referred to Trump as a "carnival barker."

Calls to mind that we did have one real "carnival barker" as a President, I even wrote a poem about it bakc it is....This particcular Carnival Barker turned President did us a LOT of good, much of it unrecognized yet, also did some bad at the end of his presidency, but maybe it was full of good we did not see. Time will tell......

The Carnival Barker--Richard M. Nixon

Come gather round, dear ones--come one and all
I'll tell you of a friend we know too well;
just listen with your heart, and hear him call
to ride upon his life, a carousel!

If we but dare! He's said time and again;
if we but try, to grab the passing ring,
though all seems lost, and shackled by lifes pain,
just one more try, and life begins to sing!

If we but stand in light of God and man,
and rise again, each time we fall from grace,
and do the best--the very best we can,
the end will judge but how we've run the race!

Come gather round! And hear him calling to
the very best that we can ever do.

Well, truth is, we just do not know, yet, many things about why Nixon really resigned. I think we will be amazed when it comes out. Yes, it will be revealed, one day.

Ref your verse reply

As an Englishman I didn't know much about American Presidents back in the swinging sixties. We would of all been genius if we had the electronic highway at our fingertips, instead we had to get out and about to learn anything.

Fortunately we didn't start life in the red like kid's are almost forced into today, a sad belief they are keeping up with peers by buying university education... Only the rich could buy "further education" in the sixties so a lot of us were self taught.

Anyhow regarding Nixon what I did know was the fact he was under tremendous pressure to get troops out of Vietnam..... Not sure he had any choice though since people were "Kicking-Off" about war and conscription and No-Way America could win. They landed a man on the moon during Nixon's watch I think.... would have to check the dates.

I believe there was high inflation in the USA at that time ....The American Army (like the British Army) didn't pay soldiers much. The British mostly were kept out of Vietnam I was concerned that US troops in combat were loosing their lives and we might get dragged in. I can picture the young girl running down the track burning after a napalm attack

If you forget all the bad bits in history even Bush can be turned into a super hero along with Elvis and Jackson (Micheal type) and anyone else you can heap on the pile.

I knew about Watergate but to this day never really read up/;understood it fully, there was a break in and some phone tapping...fairly tame by today's standards of big brother/ and wiki-leaks? but big stuff back then.

So why did Nixon Give up his presidency ? Beats Me. It will be hard for him to deny any speculation... I heard he had a massive stroke and died in his 80s

Why would anyone would give up A Top Job after all the pressure getting it..... He must have had more to loose by staying in the Job than Quitting.

No Brownie Points for a Quitter

I am sure CNN could make up a good story though
