finger-eating
student

lost in the dark
of your notes

tongue-tied
verses speak
with oily tethers

perpetual
motions

ignorance
blurred

aching temples
confine

spirals of minutes and

short-breath
ideas

what of your silence?

of slumps
Robert,

I'm in the worst of slumps. I'm grasping at straws.

Thank you for the continued support.

Abel
If this is you grasping, I can't wait to see you in full swing!

I've written comiserations to my Muse as well. I know exactly where your coming from...or have I gone far afield of your point?

I enjoyed it either way, keep them coming!

Much Love,

Dave

Robert- Encouraging words, indeed. Thank you.

Dave- Always a treat when you stop in. And, I know I'm not the only one. Thanks again.

feeling strangely fine
Figured it wouldn't kill me to get out of hate mode so I stopped in for a bit. But only you'll know what I mean.

I read this on Facebook but I'm not quite sure what or if I commented before deactivating my account.

Reading your poem made me think of my sixth grade writing assignments for the school newspaper. I hated writing them because the teacher (Mrs. Bayan) always gave me the biggest workload. Other kids got away with writing blurbs. Me, I had to write what I at the time thought was beyond my reach. But I guess teacher knew what she was doing. Ah, hindsight...

snap shot
Like a snap shot of a quick moment, a short study. This flows with observation, which is the heart of writing from what I've read.
