So many eyes so much pain
Tears reflect a rainbow of sorrow
How can we tear this curtain to reveal?
All of me all of you without pain

I saw the vermillion of your glow
In that rainbow as it held me
Sanskrit woven through these dunes
I am lost............................

Without succour I fade to you
Bedouin lost without an oasis

My rainbow is of tears.

contradictions
What's interesting to me as I read this Gordon is the contrast between tears and a desert without an oasis .. implying no tears have been shed to relieve the anguish. Am I close to where you're at?
