The Particle and the Wave,
The Father and the Son.
When the two combine,
the Trinity is One.
Simplicity has been made complex,
compelling pondering souls to vex.
Blind to what they will not see.
Oblivious of the I, that is We.
All is One invisibly
no I, no you
there is only
We.
An electron window
to the world
where unity and truth
combine and unfurl
to the seamless whole
that lies beneath
a singular universe
exalted in peace.

First let me say that your ideas of universal unity are well expressed. I do, however, feel that punctuation could help the reader here. I suppose it is the poet who is exalting in peace?
I am not sure the title fits the piece, since duality is not the sole domain of string theory.

Not sold on the idea
However, I enjoyed the words and how you strung them together. Especially liked the oblivious, invisibly which for some unknown reason I linked together each time I read this. Subliminal message? Perhaps.

Peace Is Boring and Unprofitable
I know mine is not a popular one, but the position I usually take and find very effective is to give a poem a title that is totally removed from anything in the body of the poem. I say the title should attract attention, more than anything else.

I like you style here in ezpression of your logic and desires for a better world, but in reality, I think all future of the world and humanity is more in line with Nikita Kruschev when he took off his shoe at the United Nations and pounded it on his desk and shouted "We will bury you!!!" the the United States UN Rep on LIVE TV.

They may very well do it, too. And in reality, there are tons and tons of higher educated people who do not want any lasting peace for various reasons. That is how the world has always gone and how it always will go. Peace is B-O-R-I-N-G and unprofitable. that is reality.

Existential not Political
I thank all of you sincerely for taking the time to read my work. I am honored.
I wrote this poem a couple of months ago while sitting and quietly watching ocean waves breathe in and out. It was tremendously peaceful to synchronize my breathing with the ebb and flow of the ocean shoreline that sounds so much like my own breath.(...but I digress).
While I was enjoying this bliss I started to think about photons and how they are percieved as both a particle and a wave, hence, the title "String Theory".
Whether or not we wish to be "one" with the bed bug or Europa, we are one on the atomic level. We are not the solid singular being that we perceive ourselves to be. We; being each and every one of us; is made up of a microscopic world of cells and molecules and atoms and protons and neutrons and electrons, and on that level, everything is made of the same stuff, only in different configurations...and that is the unity of which I speak.
But as for peace and unity of the earth species known as "Human" I can only quote the words of Albert Einstein...
"I can not say for certain with which weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones"
Our existence is fragile at it's strongest!!!Yet we behave as though we were invincible...the good news is that on the molecular level...WE ARE!!!
