Sets in as the cold breeze from an old window
sending hair follicles rising like an erection
weary sense of instability has been spun like a web
radiation is a non issue and drink your water

Wish I had a lighter heart
as a lumberjack, mortician or murderer
wish I had a lighter heart

here's why I cry when dead fish are along the pier
eyes burn in turmoil reading of two wars
presidents vacations and human death tolls
helpless from feeling unable to help the world

my time is taken away with the sadness
accelerate my days so I can dream with whiskey
lies from media and corporations
all my food is tainted and scared to now eat

Wish I had a lighter heart
like genetically modified corn syrup
wish I had a lighter heart

red, black, and deaths door
Libya, afghan and Iraq
radiation, tsunami, and meltdown
CNN, MSNBC,Fox have all lied
were eating their garbage reporting for the sake of death

corporate greed, fear and egos have to stop
the box is too far away and am wondering
darkness and sadness of anti matter
save or selves my youth and break this cycle

wish I had a lighter heart, lighter heart,
wish I had a lighter heart
one that destroy, hate and kill
then I would be an ignorant human

Change the World Poetry
Wow there has never been a poem on Lit.org that I have printed out except this one. You have it all in this lyric, I can envision nearly ANY 60's rock group making a monster hit of this back then.

Where are the music producers TODAY! ??? Isn't there a time in music producers worlds when your greed gives in to Humanatarian efforts???

Great, great writing.
