Your love is my life source
As strong as a tree my heart is rooted

As the leafs fall my mind is scattered
Through our seasons of good and bad
Parts of us may fall, but never die
With this will come a new life of emotion

You may cut at me and burn me
Even bring me down
But there will always be a piece of me that remains
Unearthed and always growing inside of you

I like your take on love and relationships ... interesting and vivid.

I checked your bio, noticing you've posted pieces over several years, but appear not to have made any comments. Perhaps, by introducing yourself around the forum, members will get to know you and check out more of your pieces.

To your arboreal-inflected piece, I've read many metaphorical love poems over the years employing the root/tree theme. Having said that, your personal offering read true.

Enjoy the forum..

Thank you for
All the comments you've left me over the years and I do need to find time to return the favor and will. Thank you
