One of my first tasks here on the site is picking up where we left off 5 years ago, with fighting going on in the comments.

Simply put, this is not acceptable. It's against our guidelines, period. Lit.Org is meant to be a safe place for writers to share their work and discuss. It's not just for professional writers or amateur writers. It's for every writer who enjoys it. The rules are mant to keep it that way.
I'm working on a new feature that will let authors delete comments on their own work and block people from posting on it in the future. In the mean time, if you have a problem with any comment on your work just report it to me and I'll delete it, no questions asked. You'll have the same ability soon, but I'll be happy to do it until it's ready.
Second, do not respond to people causing problems, you'll only escalate the issue. "Trolling" is meant to bait you into a response. The only correct response on this site is to report it and let me delete it. So please don't engage, just report it and move on.
Last, when it comes to dealing with problem members it is my policy not to discuss specific issues with anyone. Problems happen and I'll work with everyone on a case by case basis.
Even when the new user block and comment system go online I'm sure we'll still see problems. Continue to report them and let us handle it from there.
