Well - I am digitally responsive, plugged in and cybernetic, techno connected, returned, restored, awake and joyful - my computer is renovated, upgraded, updated and mostly whole. As I am mostly whole I guess it's just life as metaphor.

I will not neglect all those who posted their wonderful offerings last month - but will address every entry in a doubled up Ramblings Of A Vagabond Poet next month. Me thinks it will be an article on songwriting using you all as the examples.

March is upon us, and March hares are just beginning to stir with testosterone coursing through their little male, love-bunny-furry bodies, bounding crazily along English country lanes, looking for fluffy-tailed, little, Lepus, paramours..(I don't know if that's really true. It is really only being used here as a poorly used literary device)

I sat and I am thinking that I must be out of my mind to have written that - but I shall leave it as it stands and take whatever reaction it merits.
As for the Song Challenge, and inkeeping with season, the word set will he:

Lighter Heart

Here again are the rules:
Use the word set 'Lighter Heart' in a line in each chorus/refrain
or
Use it in one line of verse in every stanza.

That's it. Have fun!!!

Why is doing what you love the hardest thing to do? Is it because failing what you thought defined you would be too devastating a thing from which to recover? If so, we stay where mere accident has left us.

ya know what?
My entry will be in the form of a Kyrielle style seeing as it has the repeat line which, so I was told, originated with Hymns. Did you know this is the year of the Rabbit?

Lyrics...March Song Challenge
A lighter Heart

My time to leave you
Is very near
My journey is over
I love you dear
We've walked together
For many years
I'm ready to go
So dry your tears

Refrain:

Do not greive for me
Though we must part
I go to my rest
With a lighter heart
An Angel will guide me
Toward the light
My heart overflowing
I'll see Jesus tonight

I'll miss the sun
The soft sprng breeze
Rustling gently
Through the trees
The colors of Autumn
Painted by God
Soft white clouds
Where angels trod

But most of all
I'll miss your smile
Now I have to leave you
For a little while
Jesus called me
To his side
And to his call
I must abide

Refrain:

Do not greive for me
Although we must part
I go to my rest
With a lighter heart
An Angel will guide me
Toward the light
My heart overflowing
I'll see Jesus tonight

I'll always be near
Not far away
Protecting you dear
Day by day
You'll hear my voice
Whenever you call
I'll be there to help
If ever you fall

Remember I love you
When you're feeling sad
Just call to me
When times are bad
And when God calls you
I'll be here
To guide you to Heaven
To be with me dear

Refrain:

Do not greive for me
Although we must part
For I go to my rest
With a lighter heart
An Angel will guide me
Toward the light
My heart overflowing
I'll see Jesus tonight
Yes...my journey is over
I'll Jesus tonight!

Flowing gently
Though
