Take us; Shallow horizon
Beguile our
ruffled grey
flat line sail

Chop our wave, spliced with
the blood pink Florida
sunshine and
run the sea air through our
veins and along the shore

Colour the Spanish land, with stalks
Large over grown Spring buds that scale
the Everglades and lead our desire
out to sea; Deep into
the dark Atlantic
