Snowflakes drifting down
Are like diamonds in the snow
Nature’s Crown Jewels

Snow blankets the hills
Nature at her scenic best
Paints her own portrait

The majestic trees
Wear a necklace of diamonds
As the rain freezes

Under frozen snow
New life is waiting to bloom
Seeds will soon give birth

The snow falls softly
On graves of heroes at rest
A winter salute!

The earth is asleep
Underneath a cloud of white
Nature is at rest

Nice Form
Bea,

I'm intrigued by the form you used here. I may have to test my rusty skills this way soon. Good work, great to see you are still here posting and commenting.

Winter Haiku.
Thanks Bobby and Pablo...just noticed that I referred these haiku to Majestic...should have read Four Seasons!

Which...by the way...has sadly gone by the boards...Stuart put his heart and soul into these issues...(Winter and Fall)but not enough people checked it out! He just couldn't devote enough time to it since he started school full time.

There is still time to check out the latest (Fall) issue though.
