Wire heart’s trace wire
across the state line,
Heart shaped; doubtless lines
crossed with the measure of a
nation breaking
hearts

A scorch across the wire cross
Tired and wandering, tireless
aimless; loveless

In the wiry Nevada desert

great idea!
I do believe it could use a bit of stretching out .. with some more visual cues. Certainly worth the effort.
