I'm absolutely agog at this energy washing across the Middle East and North Africa. I love how it's spilling over into the writing here.

Stay tuned Bea. I've got one in the LitOrg hopper.

"Storm Clouds"

Your take is thought provoking..

From the leader of Iran, to the Hezbollah, to the radical wings of the Muslim Brotherhood, this marks the hastening of the Twelfth Iman and the Islamic Caliphate.

Chaos is key to initiating their plan..and success.

Egypt has known nothing but autocratic tyranny for 5,000 years. It would be naive to think any semblance of a Westernized democracy will suddenly materialize there. More likely, it will be as in Turkey (Sunni Muslims & Military), at best, or like Lebanon (where Hamas took power after elections)..or worst case, like Iran.

Pen, Pablo, Bob and Bobby!
Pen...can't wait to read yours!

Pablo...Love Haikus and senryu's...thanks!

Bob...Thanks! This involves the whole world...not just the middle east. I hope Egypt hasn't opened a Pandora's Box that will affect us all, without the change they wished for!

Bobby...If you believe the prophets...this is just the beginning of a world torn apart with terrible consequences for all...a world totally new to us!

Dogma leads to conflict.
Both sides have their 'seven-years' prophecy..only with diametrically opposed endings. It's ironic, the end-story of both religions follows the same path- through Israel..and finally throughout Europe and the entire planet.

The problem is, while the fundamentalist Christians believe in an end of days/end-times being near, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his comrades in arms in Iran, as well as throughout the Muslim world, trust in their end-time literatures, too, believing they can hasten the return of the 12th Iman, through provocation and chaos.

Storm Clouds
True Bobby...but it's chaos in any event on both sides!

Again I say PRAY!

scattering seeds
Just hope the winds of change sow seeds that will flourish, enough of the depleated crops there already.
