Poetry Thurdays will feature Philadelphia poets g emil reutter and Diane Sahms Guarnieri at the Midtown Cinema's Reel Cafe, February 3. The Midtown Cinema is located at 250 Reily Street in Harrisburg’s lively Midtown district.

G emil reutter is a Philadelphia, Pa. based poet/author and essayist. He's worked in factories, steel mills and rails of the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. His work has been widely published in the small and electronic press and eight volumes of collected verse
have been published. His selected poetry collection titled Blue Collar Poet was released in February 2009. Reutter's performed his poetry at venues in New England, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Arizona and Texas.
In 2007 he founded The Fox Chase Review and The Fox Chase Reading Series. His latest collection entitled Carvings was released in November by publishing.

Diane Sahms Guarnieri is a Philadelphia Poet. She is a graduate of East Stroudsburg State University and has performed post graduate work at Holy Family University. Her work has been published widely in the small and electronic press, Images of Being, her first full length collection is slated for release in October 2011. Currently the Poetry Editor of The Fox Chase, Guarnieri served on the Editorial Board of Philadelphia Stories Magazine founded The Fox Chase Reading Series “2nd Tuesdays Poetry Open Mic”.
She also leads The Center City Poets Workshop. Guarnieri has performed
her poetry at venues in Philadelphia, Southeastern Pennsylvania and New York.
This event is hosted by the Almost Uptown Poetry Cartel. An open reading, which begins at 7pm, will lead into the feature presentation. More information: (717) 909-6566.
