I saw a picture on the web of a baby smiling ecstatically, but tattooed all over its entire naked body (obviously photoshopped) with major brand name labels, including but not limited to McDonalds, Prudential Financial, a six pointed star, a cross, Kinkos, Sony, NBC, MS Windows, Starbucks, Kodak, Sports Illustrated and others.
I did a quick google images search on "brand tattoos" and was presented with many real examples of people tattooing themselves with similar brands, if not some of the very same ones, and,
Well, Consumerism is now an ethnicity
With a culture, a name, and a history.
Whereas humans evoke multiplicity,
Wherefore tattoos effect such a mystery?
Tis clear from the late babe's imagery,
This product of deicidal butchery,
That ne'er inhaled a whiff of life's wizardry,
That born of a womb of wicked bewitchery,
Alerts that the labeled, regardless of name
Always mark their bodies to hide the shame -
Albeit ardently to some God's acclaim;
Allah or Jehovah or another, but the same -
Deface their own likeness to oneness itself,
Delegitimizing their rights to their self,
Defaming the naming that I use, myself
Dearly when I declare that I am God, Herself!
Can't we simply see how branding outside,
Cancerous to nature, promotes soulicide,
Cannibalizing, leaves anonymity inside?
Can you feel how real is this act of deicide?
