Life is so hard
So filled with pain
I wonder when peace
Will ever find me again?
Lord are you listening
Do you hear my plea
When will you ever
Come to me?

When will you hear me
And knock on my door
That's what I'm waiting
And praying for.

"Ask and ye shall receive"
The Bible said
And I truly have faith
In what I've read
But I must confess
Though I'm trying my best
I'm growing more weary
And longing for rest.

When will you hear me
And knock on my door
That's what I'm waiting
And praying for.

Please hear me Lord
I feel your love
But I need your guidance
NOW from above
Give me a sign
Show me the way
I'm holding on
Day by day

When will you hear me
And knock on my door
That's what I am waiting
And praying for
Just come to me Lord
And I will open my door.

Bare and naked and what a wonderful verse that represents the voice of so many. The struggle with life whatever it may mean, beautiful Beatrice!

Knocking on Heaven's Door
Wow, I'm minded of another song that's one of my favorites called, "Praise You in This Storm" by Casting Crowns.

Raw and powerful this was, I loved it. The music was wonderful too. I followed the link and got a treat.

Great work!
