Some day
I will
Come home
Without you
And that day
Iíll be sad
But happy,
Slightly mad.
Ďcause youíve left
And youíve gone
And thereís nothing
Left to live on.

So sad
Will you be
But less
Than me.

It's been
Just too long
And now
Youíre gone
What will I do
Without,
Well, you.

I must admit
I didnít think
Iíd make it
This far.
But I continue
And I laugh to.
Looking back
I was sad
And now
Iím just glad
That we didnít
Go on
Because that would
Have been wrong.

Iím so sad
But happy.
Today
You left me.
I threw paint
At paper
And sold it
Much later,
Made some money
Off it,
Quite funny,
Isn't it?

I used to think
Now I donít
I just go round
On my own
As if allís fine
As if blue sky
Can make up
For goodbye.

I was happy
Until today
When it rained
And I felt like clay
So hard
So wet
So isolated,
Iíll bet.

Wouldnít it
Be fine
For us
To spend time
Far away
Iíll say
Youíre funny
And youíll laugh
And alone
Together
Take a bath.
Iíll smile
And so will you
And and and and
All over true.

Wouldnít it
Be nice
To be sad this time
Not have to
Smile again
Just sit alone
And wish for friends.

Iím sad
But happy still
What would I do
Without you?
Well I suppose
Weíll find out
Iím lying down
And never getting out.

------
Remember my friend, despite all you are, all we are, the universe will tick on, long past our departure.

Happy sad
Love has the whole system malfunction - I liked this - a window into an emotional stream of consciousness! The way you constructed the poem lent well to the randomness of the thoughts and emotions. Cool!
