Coming inward to the fast and uncertain feeling of fate.
Like comfort on that shaken cliff,
Crumbling rocks at each faltering step,
We are at peace.
We are enveloped in the choir’s voice
As harmony breeds comfort
Returned once to the womb,
Crowded and cradled by the chaos
That splinters onward.

The waking sleep ends, in as the crystal woven image
Spans voids and all the world begins to collapse.
Dominos fall with pounding innocence,
Crushing in chains of hopeful remembrance
All flowers, all life turned from chaotic disorder to
Dust, sand, elemental glass , a perfect symmetry
As all returns to the one,
Fades into oblivion, constant harmonic perfection.

And we are gone.

Remember my friend, despite all you are, all we are, the universe will tick on, long past our departure.

To dust
Fine poetic voice, wonderful imagery. I really like this one.
