As the shadow falls
On its last move
Beneath the smouldering pall
All the sky stands in recognition.
Hallowed words are spoken
And reverence it spread
As the page turns.

In the night there is a lingering
Pantomime of place
As the soliloquy grapples for breath
The forest is a light,
What is in a name?
It calls.
The stopping of perceptions
It remembers
The individualisation of an eternity.

The stars take note.
The voice calls cry.
And the calm seas break
On the rocking shore
For the comfort of humanity.

And time washes all from memory.

------
Remember my friend, despite all you are, all we are, the universe will tick on, long past our departure.

The End
Adam,

Had to comment on this, is there a wash in the either that is shred by our muse's? Loved this, and the summary of the last stanza and final line...
