Thought I’d take time

To make up this rhyme,
While the sun’s on my head

And the roses are red.

I miss your kiss

Like the breeze in the trees
Fans the fire of desire

And burns the doves up above.

Guess I just had to say,

My love’s here to stay,
And it won’t go away,

Like a worn-out cliché.

The quickest way for me to learn something new is to first understand why I'd like to learn it.
