While June's moon has surely gone too soon
And July's star spangle promise, the sky aglow
I thought a songspin of grand old timey grace
This summer made better pro venia quod diligo

Here is the word set for the July Song Challenge:

"Love I Suppose'

Last months posts just rocked - you all are amazing.

Okay... Here are the rules:
Use the word set 'Love I Suppose' in the refrain/chorus or in a line of each verse. And remember to post your entry under Lyrics I don't want to miss one (I wouldn't} If you are new to the site and have written lyrics before - then join in. If you are a poet. and not a musician, and have never written lyrics - think of a song you like and write your own lyrics to that tune. If you have read my articles in 'Majestic' then you know I believe lyric and poetry to be sister arts - so prove me correct! ;-)(See right hand panel, click on 'Majestic' and go read the gifted and talented writers there, and then go read me!)
I always look forward to what we all create.

Why is doing what you love the hardest thing to do? Is it because failing what you thought defined you would be too devastating a thing from which to recover? If so, we stay where mere accident has left us.

Challenge accepted!
Well, for what its worth, I wrote and posted my first song. =) I hope others do too, as I don't wanna be alone when the critics come to pass....although on the bright side, if I'm the only poster, I guess I win the challenge!

(wow, holy run-on sentence Batman! You call yourself a writer??? Umm yeah. I talk to myself too....)
