What do you do with a feeling that you want to let go of, yet at the same time want to hold onto forever?

What do you do with a feeling that makes you smile during the day, and cry yourself to sleep at night?

Do you let love tear your life apart? Is there really any choice in the matter? Love will always go its own way. It will lift you up, only to throw you down later. You're in it for the ride, but the choice isn't yours as to when or where you're allowed off.

How much longer? That question is asked often, and never answered.

How much longer must I suffer with this feeling?

You suffer as much in pleasure as you do in pain. The high of a vivid dream or euphoric moment, and the crushing lows of a harsh reality and a prolonged sense of what is and what is not.

All is a numbers game: Either you're on Cloud 9, or you want to be 6 feet under.

All is a numbers game: You're a zero, you're the one, or you're too late.

Why must you play a game you cannot win? You're a spectator jumping onto the field, and neither team is very pleased that you're disrupting their play.

I know you have no choice but you need to stop trying.

I know you have a choice so you need to start trying harder.

Why does it feel as if you must work just as hard to end a hopeless dream as you do to achieve a realistic one? Perhaps because both are life changing experiences; to achieve a dream, or to realize and accept that a dream you held so dear to your heart has been lost to you forever.

You don't want the dream to end, but it must.

You don't want the dream to end...but it must.

The pain in your heart shall be sharp and lasting, of this fact you should not kid yourself. The road away from love is as treacherous as the road to it. You may rise, you may fall. The path may be smooth one moment, but bumpy just the next. Some can get lost along the way and never find their way back. But always know this: There are no shortcuts. You must follow the path in its entirety, wherever it may take you, or you shall never emerge whole from the journey. Through the sadness, you must endure. The happiness, do not stagnate within it. Through the lies, do not falter. The truth, let it envelop and accompany you.

You must finish what you have started.

You must always finish what you start...Maurice.

A kind word that is honest and heartfelt can go a long way...
