Big (important) change is coming

We have made
changes
Soon you will see this
change
reflected

(But) our terms remain the same

Some
things
will
not
change
amidst this change

You can
embrace change
you can
decline change

(But) if you decline
We are done with you

------
Everything begins with lucid indifference.
(Albert Camus)

Ya know, this could easily be a letter from The White House: Accept our universal healthcare - which wasn't put on a ballot because we know it's a friggin' mess that would be shot down by those we underestimate from on high - with gratitude. Smile and wave, good people. Smile and wave.

Makes me wonder what I can take liberties with.

Notice
Lucid indifference may yet have us realize the change coming is not gonna be good! The simplicity and depth in few words is a great. Good job!

Capital Pressure
Had this letter and declined the change. Now they're done with me!

Loved this, glad to see some good (poetry) came out of their stupidity.

Kudos

Golly
Thanks to all of you for your kind words. It's a delight to be back on the site, reading and commenting and being commented upon. You're all very sweet.

It's always interesting for me to see how people interpret these things, too, so thanks especially to Francisco for offering his take (and/or extension).
