When barren trees lay dormant
and the ground is frozen brown;
truth is a crow picking bones.
So we welcome angry billows
whose pounding sheets of water
flash white hot tongues of fire;
clap the air and shake the ground,
send twisting demons down
to voice the violence of renewal.

Liked this poem. It reads quick and true as Spring showers.
