Dawn
and Darkness unfolds
Pushed aside as
Copernican Sunrise
Breaks estranged horizon

A new day
A new world
Watch the Southern Stars of Eden fade
The currency of this day
Is Blood and Flesh
for this is a day for war

A day to tax the Lives of men
To pay Deaths fare
Give back again
To Wherever from whence we came

(Time happens)

Brazen Sun now cuts the Lofts
It rips the Skies
It blinds my eyes
and I
am cut as well

I fall
and Death cradles me
Loves me, soothes me
like a comforting mother

I watch Life
Cascade from my body
Beautiful crimson streams
Which pour from my sternum

My eyes are ghosts and
My Enemy
fades away

I want to tell Him
How much I Love Him but
words are meaningless now
and my lips fail

(Beauty in the Highest Degree)

Gentle Sunset coolly
Kisses impassioned horizon
as it sinks beneath
Warm Earth

It beckons and
I follow willingly

(Dawn)

Here I have become again
a Piece of the Southern Sky of Eden
and I am swept away
in its soft Morning Light
