Sing about what we've done,
While we've been apart.

When we would move alone to and from,
With yearning in our hearts.

What we'll build together,
Whether now or never...

In these moments hereafter,
We grow, buy, beg, or barter.

With praise for all we're given,
And the trials lost or won.

We are living in...
A song yet to be to sung.

Hey Adam
I liked this but it seemed a bit thin for me. Great thoughts well strung together but I would have liked a wider examination.

I know it's weak. I haven't written anything in about 2 years and I just wanted to get back and get some input. It's just a quick toast that popped into my head for a wedding and was written in about 10 minutes. It will most likely evolve much further in time.
