Summon me a future,
Write out all the lines,
Colour in the detail
And tell me it's all fine.

Tell me how I have fun,
Tell me about a girl
Tell me all the crazy things
That I would do for her.

Let me know I'm happy,
Running deaf to fear,
Keeping worry a day away,
And soon it will all disappear.

Write me a fairytale
Where I can live in peace and joy.
Where happy ever after
Is a moment not a ploy.

Make for me a lifetime
That I'll never forget,
And then let me die content
With a smile and no regret.

------
Remember my friend, despite all you are, all we are, the universe will tick on, long past our departure.

Feel good :-)
Your poetry put a smile on my face. A hopeful smile. Good job Thea. And Merry Christmas!
