Tonight I shall not ride
Against the setting sun, but with it,
Against the rising moon
And against the shade and Death;
Tomorrow shall be today,-
As well as yesterday
Shall be one day,-
For I shall not dream
But when I choose to,
For I will not rest today
Until I see what I want to see;
Death shall not come to my corner,
But I will come to it,-
When seeds I'm ready to palm,
And plant them in the ground,-
And forests shall overgrow my grave,
But only bud by my labor and remains;
When tonight will be today,
I will be in love, alive,
And singing on the precipice of joy.

I ride
There is something wonderful, in any piece, where the protagonist takes life and destiny in hand - literally or in the abstract. Nice read - left me satisfied.
