Imagine if you had to watch mankind's moral fabric being unfurled right before your eyes by vile, disgusting people who willingly and joyously dwell within the false promises of sin. Imagine if you watched these disgusting sinners desecrate the Holy Commandments of God, for personal gain and impure pleasure. Imagine how you would feel watching the world you love so deeply being destroyed by these sinners. Imagine how your heart would break.
Now, imagine somebody invited you to join a very powerful and hush-hush society of like-minded people who were committed heart and soul, to fighting back against the vileness of these despicable sinners. Imagine suddenly being offered a chance to stop being a helpless bystander in the world's moral decay and becoming a weapon to help strike back at the wickedness of the hated sinners.
And all you had to do was use Internet adult chat rooms, the den of lust-filled debauchery and sickness, and kill sinners. To "Righteous Purify" them and thus put a permanent end to their Godless way.
Would you do it?
Would you be able to kill in the name of a holy Cause? Could you allow yourself to be such a weapon?
Brandy did. She chose to get involved as a chosen warrior of God in the war against sin. Brandy chose to be a weapon that would "Purify" the sinner and help make the world a blissful place where the streets were safe to walk at night, and children wouldn't suddenly just disappear when they went outside to play.
Brandy chose to kill.
Would you?
Think hard before you answer.
Now, imagine that you Detective Dallas Holden, of the Chicago PD, and your first case as a new detective was to be thrust into the highly intriguing and bizarre realm of chatting to track and stop Brandy before she "Purifies" again.
Imagine having to create a whole new persona in order to fit in with the other chatters in the room. Imagine having to figure out the strange, yet unbreakable, rules chatters enforce on their rooms. Imagine being accepted completely and totally into the chat room.
Imagine losing yourself to that created and perfected persona. Imagine how hard it would be to focus on your job when you were the center of attention. Imagine wanting to never stop being that created and perfected persona.
Then imagine discovering who the killer is.
Imagine discovering that Brandy was someone very close to you. Imagine how hard that discovery would impact you -- on ever level.
What would you do?
Could you put aside your strong personal feelings and arrest Brandy? Would you be strong enough to tear yourself from the hard-won love and acceptance of the room and simply be Detective Dallas Holden -- the nobody again?
What would you do?
Think hard before you answer.
This, my friends, is the plot-line for my first novel, Original Sin, available now wherever books are sold online, or by going into your local bookstore and ordering a copy.
OS is a fast-paced, action-packed thrill ride that will leave you breathless and re-defining your concepts of right and wrong. It might even have you rooting for the "bad guy."

Plot "Original Sin" Concept...
Makes quite a social statement about personal/religious belief systems and just how far some will go when they believe they are doing the work of the righteous in the name of G-d. Great concept.

Buy the book: "Original Sin" by S.C. Lang

Available wherever books are sold, including, Barnes & Noble, etc.
