Tomorrow is the 1st of November. (No Rev, not the 5th…the 1st) It is also the beginning of the NaNoWriMo challenge. As most of you know, I will be participating this year with Stuart. As such, I am writing this announcement to my beloved gentle readers of “Thunder Road.” *waves to all three of you* I will be pretty much devoted to this novel I’m going to try and bang out in thirty days so I will have to say goodbye to the musings and meanderings of “Thunder Road” for a month. Fear not gentle reader, and rest assured in the knowledge that I will return full force on December 2nd (Having spent December 1st passed out from stress, exhaustion, and an OD on caffeine.) with a brand new edition of “Thunder Road.” Thank you very much for all of the support you, my gentle readers, have given me as I have attempted to make some sort of sense out of the crazy life I have so far lead. I hope you’ll all follow along with me as I attempt to write a fantasy novel about a dream world where all of your dreams come to life. Send up a little prayer to the Muse’s for me as I grab another cup of coffee, fist at my blood shot eyes, and hunch back over my sweaty keyboard and try to come up with 2,000 words a day for the next thirty days. Hell, if you’re really feeling froggy then you should hippity hop on over to the NaNoWriMo web site and sign up. Come along with Stuart, myself, and all the others that are going to take the challenge.

Much Love to you all and May God Bless,

Dave

The Next To Read
I cannot wait to read the next generation of Dave. What will you inspire in us next, tease us to believe and draw us into to get lost in your brilliant conducting of words. Much like a maestro conducts the orchestra you my friend make words come to life, and play them as if they were notes and the paper and pen the instruments to make them sing in our ears.

Impatiently waiting (taps foot tap..tap...tap...tap) for the next generation of you and your muse of words and fantasy.

@ Herocomplex
It's a shame to lose Thunder Road for the month, but I suspect what we'll be trading it for will be worthwhile as well. I look forward to seeing where your novel goes (if you choose to share it).

Just popping in for a quick lit-driveby!

Go look under the NaNoWriMo section. The postings there don't show up on the front page; you have to look for them. Anyway, his first installment is there. He got 2,000 words done on his first day.

Already, the man is ahead of schedule!

@JP
I'm sharing. I have Part one up and 2 is awaiting validation. Three and four will be posted today and four and five tomorrow. Six and Seven the next day and I should be caught up. Thanks for the encouragement my friend. Looking foward to new years. As soon as I'm done today I'll try and catch up on Outsiders. You've been a busy little bee lately and I'm excited to see where the story goes.

Wow thats alot of writing! I cant wait to read it all and see what you come up with. I have been editing some of my works here and there, they will be up again soon. I only skimmed through your first piece, rest assured I will give it the attention it deserves soon enough. Im still working on some of my stuff so forgive me if my vision is limited. Im so waiting for the thunder road to continue!

@ Ken
I read your interview and it was quite interesting! Im not sure if I ever thanked you for welcoming me to the site, so thank you! I will start putting more effort into being more active in this site, but we all know RL seems to get in the way of what we want. Anyways, im off to troll the site a little more. Peace out
