"Daughters of Wisdom"
(award winning movie trailer)

"Daughters of Wisdom" is a wonderful documentary about the Tibetan nunnery that my personal lama, Norlha Rinpoche (Wappinger Falls, NY retreat)that he sponsors in Tibet, they are his disciples, as am I, and he does this along with several other projects he has created to help many Tibetans receive medical care and an education, and all the basic needs care needed while they live under the precarious conditions in Tibet under the rule and oppression of the Chinese government, etc.-- he does many things like this, just as the Dalai Lama has also created services available to the Tibetan refugees in Dharamsala, India. Lama Norlha Rinpoche has done much to help the Tibetan people, and he has brought and spread the Sacred Dharma teachings of Kagyu lineage here to the US and abroad. He is a most precious teacher, and I feel very grateful to have him as my lama, referred to me by my root lama Wangchen Rinpoche, both students of the Kagyu teacher, Kalu Rinpoche (reincarnated now as Yangsi Rinpoche). It is a great honor and precious merit to be in the presence of such a compassionate Rinpoche (precious one) as Lama Norlha Rinpoche. This documentary of "The Daughters of Wisdom" is well worth watching, it is no surprise it has received so much recognition and awards among the film industry/documentaries.
