Face of clay
Heart of granite
The world, the artist.
through gentle hands
our face is formed
through love,
our heart is chiseled,
Each a masterpiece
the artist smiles.

The critic comes
with societies scorn
disapproving the artist\'s work.
conformity masks
replace the face
hearts are cranked
and painted black.
The critic leaves
approval in his eyes
the artist weeps
His work deformed.

if the pen is mighter then the sword then the word processer must be mighter then the missile

The artists common curse - huh? Nice work! You have a tactile gift, an ease, for word choice - as if you hold the words in your hand before you write. That probably made no sense - I'm in an odd mood today. Really enjoyed this.
