Your monist soul in latest fashion dressed,
Scintillates, allures, ingrains, ensures
They knock as now my heart upon my chest,
Thus something, be it love or lust endures.
You yet beneath the fatuous fashions spurn,
The overseer's whips and scorns of time,
Oppressed that beauty which to see I yearn--

Still, inspiration e'er so brief I knew,
Struck dumb I stood and stared a ghost of Babel.

And in two-thousand-nine............................
Teen-eighty-four..... bliss.....novelty.............

Some token oppression lies eerily near!
I've known the new, and thus have sealed my fate.
They've come to take me!Strip-Mind
