Years and trends
a never changing force
You're overbearing self absorbed, a waste
Fears and friends
a never conquered course
overwhelming self hatred on my face

You told me that I'm evil
You told me I love hatred
You said I'm full of violence
I can't live without you
You tell me that I'm painful
You say it's what I created
You planned to make me silent
It's all according to you

Rules to follow
But they're not mine to call
You made them fit your system, in haste
Now you swallow
The failure, so take the fall
And now the blame lies solely on your soul, your face

(chorus)

You lost your chances
I'm sheltered from the world
The judging bubble you created drapes me
I've got the answer
Weathered flag unfurled
I see your anger logic now escapes me

I told you to stop your evil
I told you to curb your hatred
So thick into your violence
You can't speak the truth
Your actions are to painful
You live the life you created
I'd prefer your silence
Probably what's best for you

curious?
What genre of music are you putting this to? Heavy metal, death metal? Curious. I like this one much better, makes a multi layered interpa-ta-tional statement;-)

explanation
Think edgier, modern Pink Floyd "The Wall." All these songs will be intertwined by key, tempo and subject matter. The Verses are clean guitar and melodic and the choruses rip with crunch guitar. I guess it would be manic depressive hard rock. 'How do you sing' is supposed to feel happy, with uncertaity. 'As Logic...' is really mellow and longing and 'According' is straight forward and driving.
