More to Life

There is more to life
Than egocentric phase
Of the vicious.
Aso rock presupposes paradise
Which clicks to ears.
Tresures claim to be theirs.
Only to their caucus.
Dash hopes and existence
With no remorse.

There is more to life
Than wigs in macro garment.
Wig coiled like a wily goat.
Lipstick painted!
Face powered!
Non-viable human foetus remorse.
Abortion! Moral and religious overdose,
Excuse she hands.
Human foetus' right to life denied.
Pre-marital and extra-marital sex
Who will checkmate your excess?

There is more to life
Than empty wisdom of scientist.
Cloning humans, dead or alive.
There, their veins spring for work.
But where is life to give?
Cloning has become a name.
A pity, shall i say?

Ther is more to life.
A useless and inevitable gift.
With a face of good deed
And a hand of evil deed.
... More to life
I still hunt to decipher...

More to life
Deep and thoughtful work on a subject that I believe should not be controversial. We shouldn't clone humans - period. Being human we will only make them for parts - such is human arrogance and our terrible fear of death. Will we create a form of slavery of grisly convienience? Should we just because we can?

On abortion - God made plants that allows the flush of an unwanted fetus in the first months. Women lore has spoken of it on every continent for thousands of years. It is and should be the sole territory of women. We men have mucked it up with a twisted sense of property. Shouild we/all allow abortion in the second and third trimester? No. A child can survive outside the womb. This whole area smacks of the Tower of Babel to me. (Sound of feathers ruffling!) The issue should really be one of education and responsibility. (One of the few, Obama, thoughts on which I agree.)
Good poem my friend and good job stoking the fire. I agree with Dagger this should be a good thread.
Thanks
Ken

This issue is unavoidable considering the prevailing argument of some humans that they have a right to live the way they like. The rights of humans in the society are curtailed in the interest of others, public interest, public morality, etc. I am still doing research on the legal point of view as regards abortion, what are the advantages and disadvantages of abortion, its aftermaths. All based on evidence. There is artificial human insemnation as alternative. Thanks for your comment and lovely to hear from you.

You are right. In addition it should be emphasised that abortion has to be viewed from moral, medical, legal and religious perspective which are different in nature and conclusion still need to be arrived at. This will now depend on angle to fit in. There are exceptions in which abortion can be permitted, this you will see later in my work, but i am still busy in law school.
