The American Dream
Is going down the long and winding stream
You can be an athlete
As long as you feel that you can compete
You can volunteer
In this hemishere
You can sit in the twilight
To make people unite
As long as you are happy
What ever you do don't be unhappy
You can sail the crystal blue water
With your son or daughter
You can live like you are in Camelot
Or be up in the stars like an astronaut
Do the American dream
Build your self-esteem
Go with an ideal
That you want to reveal
The American dream
