FRIENDSHIP

Friendship is a tonic, especially
When drank with people
Of mature mind and similar substance.

Unfortunately, I am now a debtor
Owing to your mannerism.
I will forever owe you a debt,
A debt of everlasting friendship.

Opening my door, my window,
Even my telescope is of no use
Because I could not find you, let alone
Dining with you at present.

Far beyond my glance, you are.
For aid of meeting minds
You have been my talking type.
My brain, when brain goes on recess.
For a while our friendship will be
Missed because you are out of sight.

Lyric Poem.

This poem expresses my feelings and ideas addressed to friends whom i have crossed their path, but cannot be with them at present. Saying Happy Valentine Day to friends: Rasheed Shoremekun ACA, Mariam Oris, Ochani lele, Jonpenny, Dagger, Daud and Ibrahim Ogunwoolu, Toba Olorunlogbon, Opeyemi Akinlade, Bayo Onamade and all members of this literary organisation.

DGreat, Friendship...LEAN ON ME...yes;-)
Great statement about friendship, Stuart (Ochani Lele) and I have been friends for 20 years, and it is a strong friendship. Real friends never betray you, and real friends help hold you up in troubled waters, like the song: "LEAN ON ME"

Great affection and inspirational writing about friendship, so few these days it seems know what it is to be a true friend.

Namaste,
