The Accidental Blogger
Funny you should ask about this just now, Kat. It just so happens that I went to Wordpress a few days ago looking for the continuation (and, I hoped, the conclusion) of a serial that had been posted here at Lit several years ago: The Reality Rat's Guide to Living in the Last Days. A comment from the author directed readers to Wordpress to find most or all of the finally-completed series, but you had to sign in to Wordpress to see it.

So I signed up for Wordpress and, when they asked nicely, I replied, "Sure! What the hell? Gimme a blog!" And they did, so here it is, such as it is at this point!

You're an experienced blogger, so answer me this: What the heck do I do now??? : )

P.S. to comment above...
...trouble is, I STILL haven't found the rest of Reality Rat! Rats, indeed! : (

KatHarlander & LinnieRed PUBLISHERS for Reality Rat, eh?
http://www.lit.org/view.php?viewid=6622

Kate, this is what LinnieRed of speaking of, I think it would be simple just to pm him, LinnieRed, his email address will get forwarded automatically. I was a huge fan of Realty rat too.

He needs a publisher, humm? Let's see KatHarlander:-) you know any publishers?;-) Heheheh? Also, I wonder if Stuart knows any either;)....hmmmm?

Reality Rat was a pretty good and interesting series, though...not many followed his work, I found it fascinating as did LinnieRed way back when in the stone age of Lit.Org years...

With ALL love and Blessings,

@LinnieRed
Now you make your space in the internet world. I love my blog. It feels like home to me. I should have a wordpress blog up soon for my new book. Then we can be wordpress friends.

In the meantime bloga are just a fun place to dump your thoughts, place your pictures and have a little corner of the internet world all to yourself.

Beware the Blog!
Went back to my brand new Wordpress blog and came up with a little something to write about- something obviously near and dear to my heart. Even sussed out how to upload images!

Oh, I am just so very tech-savvy! I feel quite hip and au courant! : )

@LinnieRed
I'd say you did pretty great for your first blog. I'll have a blog up on wordpress soon for my self portrait book. We can shamelessly self promote together.

AndyHavens' work blog?
Andy - Perchance would this be the one whereof you speak?

I can never resist a challenge like that! Thank goodness for Google!

SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION!
I LOVE it;-)

LinnieRed is my sister goddess of shameless self-promotion from years back here at the Lit.Org when I first wrote an article about myself called THE GODDESS OF SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION....hahahaha;-) LinnieRed who has a most excellent sense of humor immediately recognized me as her sister goddess of same from a previous incarnation. We bonded in this life as well...and so it goes.

Glad to see that KatHarlander and Andyhavens have joined the counsel of us up here at Mount Olympus for a cool game of chess.

SELF PROMOTE and SHARE YOUR HEARTS OUT AWAY...like KatHarlander, I too, LOVE to read others blogs and see people truly share their thoughts hearts, and minds, as well as their everyday and extraordinary experiences and lives via their writing.

Like Stuart, who is busily typing away working on his newest book contract due soon to be ready for publication, I am busy too, but in very different ways, too complicated to get into. But like, KatHarlander I cross post here and on other places as well when it comes to blogs, though in my case my blogs these days some I DO not post here due to the nature of the blogs, but one day I will blog here exclusively like Stuart is slowly doing too.

I Keep a Diary and Duct Tape

I do not blog it. I live it.

HA! Hahahahaaa! See there? I just cracked myself up!

Be sure, questioner, that I do indeed use anything I can accrue to impress myself with myself despite myself. My ego is a hungry, hungry hippo, you know, much to my woe.

Nevertheless, I do not wish to share any of my "blogs" here on this pleasantly pristine prairie that is the Lit.org for fear of befouling it, besmirching it, or bespattering it in any way with my feeble fatuities. So I shall continue to flatter myself in secret until the day arrives where I feel that what I have to "blog" is worth "blogging" and that I am sure it does not add to the "clog" but helps the "unclogging".

Blogging is like singing in the car: great when you are alone, but annoying to any other occupants riding alongside if you cannot carry a tune or have offensive halitosis.

But I so enjoy the act of agitating...

Perhaps someday I will share a blog or two here on the luscious Lit.org divine to see what trouble they may find.

Duct tape? Rev. Antinomian
Hahahaha! Duct tape? I know that duct tape is useful for many things, in fact, I once wrote a dadaesque poem titled DUCT TAPE, but what pray tell, Rev., do you need duct tape for along with your diary? Diary? Diary is kinda girly-girl as Arnold Schwarzenegger might say, you might consider calling it "your journal", but considering you call yourself Rev. Antinomian, I doubt you much care what anyone thinks, I mean, that is part of your religion, right, Rev. Anti?

( Posted by: TheRealKarmaTseringLhamo [Member] On: February 17, 2009 )

Duct Tape is My Saviour

Well my dear Lena, esteemed owner of this forum and funhouse, if you must know, I can use the duct tape either to tape closed my girly-pink diary containing my deepest inner feelings, secret crushes, and possible feminine aspects, or I can use it to tape shut my mouth so as not to offend the meek or the guilty leading to the inevitable headache.

Perhaps I should your advice and start calling it "my journal". Would that then make me a journalist? Hey, now you are on to something! The "Journalist Antinomian" has a ring to it. I like the sound of that but would need to put on an enemy uniform for that profession and that I cannot do.

You see, all bravado aside, I do indeed care what people think, often to my own fault, because PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUSLY CRAZY! So I try to avoid any unwelcome grief.

Sometimes.

U got me HOWLING with Laughter...
Your sense of humor and quick wit brings me to a very special place of ultimate laughter, thank you, Rev. Antinomian!

The world needs more laughter, especially since a sense of humor is a sign of good mental health as the experts say, and that when people are truly "crazy" the first thing to go is their sense of humor, their joy, and ability to laugh at themselves and the absurdity and folly of life, lives, the world, etc.---;-)

Thank you, KatHarlander for providing this request space and post that got such an interesting and awesome set of comments.

With ALL Love,
Karma Tsering Lhamo

Re. Blogs
Hi Kat..I believe I've only submitted one blog here, but I was enraged enough to respond to a comment on the forums here a few years ago.

I still stand by it!

Bloggings
My main blog is Her Name Is Omega ( http://hernameisomega.wordpress.com ) - it covers the main ongoing story I am writing.

I am also part of The Eclectic Chair ( http://eclecticchair.wordpress.com), a shared writing blog run by myself and some friends (I am there as Junius.) This is more one-off pieces although some of them do tie together.

Duct Tape
hahaha. You are too funny. Katie West just posted something about the internet that totally made my day. I'll repost here:
Some people think the internet messes them up, you know? Like, the wrong people start seeing the wrong things. Or it becomes exhausting just being so easily found. Or you become addicted to needing people to respond to the things you do. Or you start thinking, omg, should I be living more irl?

Fuck that.

The internet has made my life so much better and so much more interesting. And yours too, don't deny it. The internet makes me money and wins me friends. Why can't the internet be real life too? You've met all those people from the internet and they were awesome, weren't they? You got all these cool new friends whom you'd never have known otherwise. You wouldn't have even known they existed. And even the ones you haven't met (yet), most of them you have more in common with than your real life friends and you actually like the majority of them more. They get you, you know?

The internet saved your fucking life, dude.

*And that my friends is how I feel about my blog and internet life. hahahaha. Thanks Katie.
