The United States has announced a "War Against Terrorism", and well we should! We have acknowledged and taken difinitive actions against the "Axis of Evil" in Iraq and surrounding countries, and well we should! Terrorism must be extinquished on all accounts and Evil must be subdued and defeated, on all accounts also. No matter where or who is propagating it.
America, itself, has become the self proclaimed "Peace Keepers" within a volatile and hostile World. Our own Christianity has quickly become a pronounced target, and is again being underscored in deadly oppressions and actual deaths, as in past history. The "Holy War" provokes and produces heightened conflicts permiting suicidal missions of mass destruction. The State of Israel is constantly besieged within its borders and a malady of upheaval surrounds them. We definitly live in perilous times!
Often throughout our Bible History we find where God actually allowed unjust Nations to raise up and war against another Nation, even against God''s own People. Therefore allowing the unrighteous to victoriously war against the unrighteousness of His own! Fortunately, this measure seems to be withheld as a final action, wherein all else has presumable failed. Inturn, providing a season of judging as an affront toward the unrighteousness that exists. This produces a merciful purging and purifing process toward needed re-sanctification and deliverance.
Is this where we are in History? Perhaps. But as Disciples of Jesus Christ we have the awesome belief and knowledge that our Lord will come back to rule and reign; for we have all read the final chapter! In the meantime however, we are admonished to discern the seasons and times we live in! Knowing we are all called to holdfast our profession of faith and continue to be the source of Light in an everchanging World, of gross darkness.
It does not matter who or where we might be as His Disciples, our duty is to discern the "Axis of Evil" that is in our own mist! Be it in our home, our business, our church, our shool, our community, our government, or our nation. All depending on where each of us walk daily.
Evil and terrorism comes in many forms. Some forms are blatantly exposed while others are deceptively subtle. But, rest assured, the Light and Truth that is in the Gospel of Jesus Christ will prevail. We must begin the warfare in our own Prayer Closets first. We must determine to war a spiritual warfare, and in the authority that is in the Name of Jesus, command and condemn every form of evilness back to the pit where it came from! We can then proclaim our inherited rights, thru the Blood of the Lamb, to establish the Kingdom of God on this Earth as it is in Heaven. This always begins in our own backyard first, and then outward to our loved ones and family, spreading futher in widening circles to friends, associates, and acquaintances. Our Lord will equip ,and really has already equiped, each of us to effectively promote the Kingdom of God. He has anointed us to overcome the "Axis of Evil" within our own borders. Light dispells darkness, naturally, soulfully, and spiritually.
I present a challenge to each Christian, to every Disciple of Jesus Christ! Is your Light dispelling the darkness, the "Axis of Evil" that is within your borders? Have you taken up your spiritual weapons of warfare? Have you proclaimed a "Holy War" against the "Spiritual Wickedness in High Places", which may be presented as "Angels of Light" in your own hometown? Can you discern the "Axis of Evil" and the Terrorism that looms all around? Or have you, as many Christians have, fallen asleep in the pew? Have you made your Church a comfor zone in self luxury and helpful quotes, that must not be disturbed? Are you calling on Jesus to serve you constantly? Or perhaps you are one waiting on the Lord right now, and asking Him where you can be of service.
This is stong meat for the mature, not for the babes in Christ that the milk is provided for. The mature Disciples of Jesus Christ are enlisted for duty and have a Commander in Chief they must harken to. Are you hearing His Trumphet Blow? Soon we will hear the Final Trumphet Blow to call us all to join Him. Soon Jesus will come back in all His Spendor and Glory! Jesus is coming back for His Church without spot or wrinkle, His Bride, His Elect! These are the ones that will hear His Final Trumphet Blow!
Stir your spiritual senses and exercise them unto righteousness! Read the final chapter again and realize that the "Axis of Evil" is closer than you may have suspected. "War a good fight" so that you will not be ashamed in the day of visitation that will come upon the whole Earth!

Spelling! Spelling! Yikes. "Axis" only has one 's'. I thought it was a typo until I saw you'd repeated it half a dozen more times. There's a few other glaring spelling mistakes in there too, but 'axsis' really does stand out.

To comment on the piece itself: I found the article to be pretty heavy going. For starters, I always found the term 'axis of evil' to be in slightly poor taste.

But more worryingly, I found your article to be very heavy on rhetoric, but without a single reference to back it up. As a Christian myself, I insist on any Christian writer I read backing up their points with quotes from the Bible. This is not optional: You must be able to show that your points are grounded in Biblical truth. No amount of captital letters to emphasise your points can replace this.

I agree with the previous comment. Direct connetions to biblical verse would make it more relevant and definitive.

Axis of Evil and then some
A unique and very insightful look at the world today. Should be compulsory reading for all world leaders and politicains.
