It happened quicly

In just a few seconds Bush was gone.

Obama was now more than in.

He was president of the planet.

None too soon.

Obama will now change America and the world.

He may not get a second term if the economy slides even more by 2012.

But I cannot think of anyone better to take helm right now.

Here is a man with vision, eloquence, intellect, compassion, and calmness.

I breathe a little easier.

No one knows what the future will hold, but we are all glad the past is done.

Bush looked haggard and small as he took off to oblivion.

All I could hear in my mind were the words:

I speak in metaphor.

At least you are pro-Obama.

Bush lost respect because he did not respect others--- totally off the bat.

The American people are not fools.

Bush is in the high 20's in all opinion polls.

I hope that someday you become a world citizen.

I see this planet as ONE.

...Being the best nation on hte planet, the world looks to us for leadership. We've given them that. No he's not the president of the world. He's a world leader. One we've all been waiting for for eight years.

I'm not going to quibble....

Haggard and Small
Yes, King George did look quite haggard and small on his way to the helicopter. Ha! He has, however, always looked small to me. YES WE CAN prosecute him and his criminal co-conspirators.

Hah! Hah!

Yes we can....

A conservative agrees in part
Soooo glad Bush is gone, but I wish I knew what kind of change was coming. IMHO, Bush was already a big government pork-loving liberal who almost passed amnesty and did pass the great government program failure of 'every child left behind.' The Republican party is dead because of W. John "my friends" McCain was an extension of W., but not in the way Democrats said. He didn't even represent the people of his party (hence the Palin mania, because she did). And now it's fractured beyond repair. I see 8 years of demagogue democrats before a newly restructured party emerges (no offense to liberals- both sides are intolerable when in complete power).
I hope you're right about Obama. I want him to do well, but I don't want words. I don't want speeches. I will wait to see what he does.

Yes, in forty years we're all gonna die.

( Posted by: gamblerman [Member] On: January 24, 2009 )

We have more than our own deaths to consider for the earth and the continuing generations will have to deal with what we do now. We have a responsibility to each other to make this world a better place not just for now but for its future. Or do you know something you are not telling? Meteor, perhaps?

May all our prayers be for world peace and the success of our President Obama in cleaning up this mess of a hand he has been dealt.

In past posts on this site I have discussed in greater detail the fractal geometry of Elliot Wave theory....

After 2012 we are heading for a huge boom and then it's all over around 2050.

Not the end of the human species, but civilization as we know it.

A new dark ages like after the fall of Rome.

But maybe Aliens will save us?

Elliot does not say why.

Just says it's coming.

We can speculate.

Nuke wars, global warming....

@Gamblerman "Elliot Wave theory"
I see. I will have to research this. Are there other theories/theorists that back this or allude to these same kind predictions/speculations?

( Posted by: Boudica [Member] On: January 24, 2009 )

Not that I know of....

But other doomsday scenarios abound.

( Posted by: gamblerman [Member] On: January 24, 2009 )

Doomsday scenario or not, fractal geometry is both in it's infantry and unable to prove much of anything. Also, if the man says it's gonna end and you believe it without any evidence or facts about how/why, then I believe I should stop reading your posts :P

On a seperate note, as much as I disagree with some views you hold gamblerman, I am glad you post so much. Usually, even though I disagree, I enjoy the informative opinions you share, but this is purely doomsday speculation.....

Ignorance can be bliss Roach....the end is not speculation. How it will come is speculation....and fractal geometry is not bible thumping end of days bovine excreta....

( Posted by: gamblerman [Member] On: January 25, 2009 )

ok ok, ur def. sure man.
i didn't say that, i said it is in it's infantry, please do not twist my words buddy.

And fractal geometry IS psudeo-spiritual new age babble.... although I do like to look at tree branches to get a map of entire's in it's infantry, ok?

Oh, and every end is a beginning, so ends are destined, the end of this age is the beginning of another, I just prefer to perpetuate "end times" ideas positively, that way people can grow from the knowldge of changing times, and not cower in it.

Do you mean infancy?

Infantry is.....

Fractal geometry has an astonishing record. My friend has called all major market turns since 1987 with fractral geometry.

( Posted by: gamblerman [Member] On: January 25, 2009 )

ha ha ha, yes I did mean infancy, thanks :)

Dude, I'm down with it, like I said, I see the whole forest through one limb of a tree. It's just that like Alien Abductions, as much as you and I can make of it, it's not a general knowldge yet.

( Posted by: Roach [Member] On: January 25, 2009 )

ha ha, infantry.....

( Posted by: Roach [Member] On: January 25, 2009 )

I'm glad hat fractal geometry is known to few....
