I'm not really into poetry, but every time I read one of your pieces, I have greater appreciation for the art.

This haiku . . . is perfect. It's something that should be written on parchment in calligraphy, and framed prominently in one's home.

It also left me with a deep feeling of sadness; and, trust me, it's hard to make me feel sad.

Brilliant work! This the best haiku I've read since coming to litdotorg.

Hey frowning with love right now...the holidays can suck when your loved ones have turned invisible...have a happy holiday anyway...eggnog it till ya puke (that would probably entail 2 sips since eggnog is typically disgusting)

Beas' sad snow
It is hard for me to get my mind around the image, I love a soft snow so. Teardrops with the flakes...that is so sad. I am sorry you had to get your mind around the reality of it. Robert.

On your frozen crypt
Dear Bea,
This one speaks to me. My fiances ( he died 10 yrs ago) birthday is Christmas. In three small sentences you explained exactly how I feel.

Dagger and R.K. Singh glad it "touched" you!

Dagger...never be ashamed of being moved to tears by something that touched you. It proves you have a tender heart and a compassionate soul!

I'd like to know who's VANITY you speak of Poewhit? Explain?

Thank you KatHarlander
My heart goes out to you Kat...our tears entwine.

I have noticed Bea, that poewhits comments rarely make any sense at all, so don't waste your time trying to figure it out. His poetry is much better than his comments. Robert.

Nice to know that chivalry isn't dead after all!
