Lit...

In my eyes, my lips..hips or between my thighs there is power...aHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

In my mind where thoughts are formed and enacted by the emotions that travel from my brain to...said places of which I'll not repeat again...lol

...But seriously...

my power is in my pen and in each stroke of the keys that I type, in each line that I scribble down in and out of sleepless nights...or while I dream of words...dream of words...

My power is alive in every word that you write, in every emotion that you invoke in me...in each piece that I read and my mind deciphers...

My power is in hoping to reach someone, anyone that has traveled down a road and feels as if here is no light at the end of that tunnel...

you light the fire, I'll strike a match so that they may see the way out and understand that they are not alone...and never have been nor ever have to be.

My power is being plugged into each and everyone of you...you are the charge...you ignite my mind whether I like it or not...

...and it's OK...it's lovely...

Thank you.

I think folks here need to see your site and hear your voice and congratulations on your new invitational gigs at the university, and may there be many more! You seem like a good loving Christian woman whose had her trials and tribulations like many of us all have also been through...love to meet you sometime or go to one of your spoken words or singing gigs, your talent on your myspace.com page is quite amazing.

Namaste!

Birthed
Greetings LMJ:

Woman, you are so real! You write what you feel. Something has birted out of your pen, and it is P-O-W-E-R! The power of one's pen can subject, inject, reject, accept, concept, conceive, receive and deceive. LMJ, your pen has the power to change something's, haha. You are one on a kind here at lit.org. Thanks for the read; the first line had me crying!

Blessings,
{{{Jeannie}}}
