Ugghhh Dorothy never had it this rough...
Just click my heels three times and stuff...
Theres no place like home...

Sorry New York City...
Please take me back...
I promise not to leave you again baby...
Well maybe for Mother India...

That Frisco bitch meant nothin to me...
I swear youre the only one I love...
It was just a fling...a 97 night stand...
You know I never meant to hurt you baby...

Theres No place like home...
Theres no place like home...
Theres no place like home...

I suppose

there will come a time when I'm writing the same about leaving London. but "home" presents its own problems, and "no place like" covers a multitude of sins...

a wise soul once said to me that the geographical solution is usually devoid of resolution... I've been quoting her to would-be wayfarers ever since... but then if I don't listen then why would any body else...?

the line "a 97 night stand" made me spit coffee on the screen, I laughed so hard...

I smile, but its wryly, and over my shoulder.

kilgoretrout... the joys and pains of domicile
I fucking loved this. It reads like one man's 'journey' in the context of a look at two cultures and a woman found in one. Good work.
