The cars were roaring along the freeway to San Rafael. America was leading the civilized world in a titanic struggle against unknown terror. She was steam-boating in the Utah desert. The Feds were furiously reorganizing with a high-ball in their face in order to improve collapsing domestic security; and a new cabinet position was being created now second only to the DOD that would simply handle all this BS with a steamy baritone kind of voice.

A young woman was precariously cradling the cell-phone to her ear with one hand, as her other hand was furiously dancing with the steering wheel. " I dunno. I'm just really speechless, you know. He was really this misleading ass. I mean, couldn't he have just come up with something really more tactful? " The voice on the other line was inaudible.

Drooling fools everywhere were parading in the evening. The speeding cars were getting lost in kitchen vineyards. " Couldn't he have just had the guts to call me. You know, and tell me how he really feels about me? It's pathetic. He was just pretending. I meanů."when these giant stars start exploding they just show these irregular blasts that create these gnarly globs of space; and these kinds of supernovas can then unleash energies that can briefly outshine any galaxy.

The driver at the wheel was starting finally to tear. "I mean, I'm not picky, and I'm open to meeting new people. You know, I'm not desperate and I'm fun, and I'm really cute. I like singing in the shower, and hanging out with all kinds of cool friends, I like hiking, running, and trying out new things. I mean gosh, why did he behave like such a jerk. I mean I could have taken him and shown him some monkeys and watermelon juice and you know, I'm just sexy as hell! "

Video conferencing was now really booming since nine-eleven. One hundred and thirty million cell phones were discarded every year in America. About 65,000 tons! They were also shrinking in size and weighing only three ounces. They also contained toxic elements like arsenic, lead and zinc. " I mean did he just want a blow-job right away or what? " She was crying. The freeway was getting dark. The buddahs were also just waking up. Serious issues were being discussed now like transport and border security, also something obliquely called emergency preparedness and also serious counter-measures for biological, chemical, and nuclear attack. Hemingway and Salinger were also really laughing. " I mean I'm a nice girl. " She pleaded. " aren't I ? "

Oh, Michael...hahaha!
Fascinating story, Michael! I loved this a combo of your serious with the California-speak of the more ditsy sentient beings among us...LOVED IT.

When my three daughters, who all grew up in California get together we fall back into our high-school ditz CA speak, just like the girl here in your story...I mean like, it's like so natural it just happens, you know? Hahaha! Now my son, uses a combo speak, since he came to New York while only 10, he uses upstate New York slang mixed with the CA slang his sisters use, and it can be know, like really, for real. Here in New York, the term "wicked" was used as slang a lot, never heard it used in North or Southern CA...thought it interesting. Hehehehe:-) Sorry, I haven't been around much and have a lot to comment on, but time is creeping nearer to my big day...with the surgeon! Hooray! Finally~

By the way, hope you are well health wise, and that all your projects are ZOOMING! I have added a couple of new faces to my alter, refugees from Tibet who are in the various programs set up by the Dalai Lama. One is a teen girl orphan in the Tibetan Children's Village in Dharamsala, and the other is a young monk who escaped from Tibet on foot, had been in a monastery since childhood, he is 17 now and wants to pursue his dharma studies to the fullest...become a Geshe then Lama? Is that the order of it?...
....don't know much yet about that, but my husband and I are happy to help in his education, just as in the orphan girl education, so that their culture does not die.

A people without a country now, though as you once said, it was good that Tibet opened up to the world, though by force and in horrid ways, still now, their culture will live and so many have been now exposed to Tibetan Buddhism in America and all over the world...many of these refugees are without family, alone. Some have been in India for many years, had their children their, but struggle to maintain, so you can even sponsor a whole family. Yep, worthwhile causes like so many worthwhile causes, wish I were a Billionaire, I know how I would distribute the wealth...but who knows, millionairess may just be around the corner for me, just as it is laying your lap waiting to materialise. Good karma, good heart, Bodhisattva, Michael. All comes, all is already here. Thanks again, for all the advice and help you've given me since I have come to know you....

Kathy Nolan, is an MD who volunteers her time in Woodstock with TibetAid.Org. Hopefully we will put up thier banner or link here one day, and she will do the same for the Lit.Org. Compassionate people running that program...totally on the up and talking to them, you might want to check it out. I send you lots of good thoughts for projects and successes....when you are a Billionaire, will you send some my way? Just kidding, doing fine is beautiful, my karma is good. Doing more puja, and getting better one baby step at a time...that is all I can do, start with my small piece of energy which is in a constant state of change, but some progress towards more compassion and enlightenment has been made...still, so much further to go.

Hope you have a good Thanksgiving, for this year in particular, I feel I am living in a constant state of thankfulness, gratefulness, happiness, with a spout or two here in there of boo -ohohoo, but not too often...again, thank you for all your help, advice and virtual friendship. It was good to speak to you on the phone, please call me anytime if you need help from me, happy to oblige. Though I can't imagine you needing anything from me, you got it all together, and you are on the ZOOM MILLIONAIRE train...

Can hardly wait for my big date. Especially looking forward to the morphine drip..hehehe;-)Not kidding, like for real. I'm a good girl.

Oh, yeah, loved the "drooling fools", many lines I loved...great reading. Blessings~

Tashi Delek;-)
