Youth ingested
Superficial intelligence, profound movement
Around and around the Merry-go-round
Illusions of facts stir the belly
Eyes of bright with hands unused
Limitless mind for unlimited thought
Contradictions of happiness surrounded by laughter
Ages gone to compose truthfulness
Moving through visions of morality
Trapped and shackled, subdued to conform
Conception of the present, lust for the future
Mature interceptions, the kiss of death
Youth digested

Salt on that earth
Like the ideas in here, and I liked the framing sentences. Not sure about the execution of every line in between. "Eyes of bright"?

"Contradictions fo happiness surrounded by laughter" tells, I think, where it should show. Is there an image or a metaphor that could convey the same thought less literally?

"Conception of the present, lust for the future". That, I like. Well-done.

Still, enjoyed.
