open we,
voids to vacate astray out-of-body
it is a religous endeavor
to explore what lies between the frames
the obvious becoming the obscure

life becoming a beast
such a beast
laden down with drench-soaked fur
a beast adorned with plumes
and bones and precious gemstones
and mysteries and wealth and
an altered sense of self
and most noticably a carniverous demeaner
with a 'kill or be killed' disclaimer
projected forth from foaming rabid mouth
like i project myself
when sorrows overtake me

if i could sell my sorrows i'd make millions
or go down with the ship
down down
down to the deepest darkest depths of existence...

i grow numb
light pending now
moments must pass before it
o, to return to the ages of freethought...

i see shape and light
a beautiful thing
i am filling the gaps
the gaps in between
in between where the frames stand still
a religious endeavor to pursue
pursuit thereof, an endless virtue
a virtuous vortex churning through cerebral cortex
these temporal tempests
watch these rains descend but now
i see the sun again
i see the sun again
i see the sun
i see the...

behind my brow is lurking a working
capstone, skin and bone,
you know, i have no real excuses but
genetics made me do it

i find that love is easy but being loved is
so very hard, very hard
christmas cards in early december
hang them on the wall
desperately linking our ones and alls...
i send you my wishes like a physical thing

these hours consume these minutes
these days consume these hours
a siren sings somewhere in the distance but
i cannot follow for
i was not meant to find beauty in death
but only death in beauty

a silly thing, the immaterial
(a silly thing, the material)

where do we find our common ground?
siren sound, so profound
where do we find our common ground?

it is not a religious endeavor
(it is a religious endeavor)
it is not a... religious...endeavor
it is not a...
