my right arm spasm
i am holding my penis.
shaking and dripping
waiting to flush this toilet

i pretend to wash my hands
i do not want to be bothered
my thoughts move my two hands
i notice the veins sticking out

sneeze.sneeze sneeze.
head rushed with blood
sneeze
dripping fluid, finding a rag.
keep typing, my thoughts are constant
i drew beautiful portraits today

the air is calm and the world is still here
i drink my beer and i pour another glass
trying to kill my thoughts and not think
please for once turn my thoughts off

i need to relax and breathe
settle my shoulders and make the tension disappear
i want to vanish and drain my life
mother nature says it is ok
my beautiful flower wants to bloom.

vanishing and draining
nearly missed this, glad I didn't...

visceral this, how a creeping sense of disgust with self and with body becomes aligned allegorically with a wider sense of disgust for life, for should, for spirit. the action of holding penis, shaking and dripping, to that of writing? to thinking? to creative endeavour generally? ...

I empathise with needing not to think, this is familiar to me. hope you don't vanish just yet, stay a while, and write.

Shannon,

Pretty much nailed the piece on the head. Thank you for reading. I always enjoy reading your work and your comments.

Eric, Love the comment. Then ending is not what your thinking but very comical to think about that.
Thank you

Poewhit, Thanks for reading but wine is sometimes tiresome to drink. Cheers.
