Takes a momment , a glimmer of realisation
Awareness of the past, breathe, and eternal compensation.
The pattern is clear carved in every strend that bore the test
And times is pressed when single minds bear at ease
the suffering of it all affects all except one.
The creator, the light. The light that shines in all our minds.

The ways are cleared, the walls are lowered,
and the distinctions that once held hard, fall hither.
Two worlds woven of one fiber.
The love that bears the thread itself,
One beating heart at the center of it all.

And They call it many names, many places, bringing us close to one sensation.
The one we live, cry , love and die for, the one we call creation.
A global movement, every emotion juiced out and fed into the mains.

We are who we are when we have always been.

I've been duly old
Shaza, hope you won't mind, but just sharing this poem of yours with a friend of mine and mentioned I'd prefer a more structured approach... at which point he gave me a pitying look and said "but structure will kill it, it's got to F-L-O-W" and proceeded to read a floorless rendition of this piece, hip-hop lyric style, after which I consider myself told! ;) once it's read as a performance piece then all the internal musical nuances come to the fore and gives the language the trip-off-the-tongue energy it needs...

really opened my eyes to the possibilities of this form... speaking of which, another writer here, LMJ does some really strong, energetic performance stuff, which I recommend a read of. nice to see you posting again, and thanks for the up-beat affirmative presence of this.
