First...my comment title is NOT because you responded to my gesture here in this post, (although it is nice to know that someone is listening...so I really do mean it when I say thank you!!!), but it is due to my reading your profile pg. I've never seen you here before and I wasn't certain if that was due to the fact that I'm new myself or that I've not been really paying attention.

Well...like I stated, you are most definitely my kind of poet!!! You are comfortable with experimenting with various ways of writing but soooo, soooo much more than that is the fact that you've just taught me something that I never even knew existed...please allow me to "esplain" (as Ricky would say).

My writing began first with me just throwing out on paper what ever came to mind. Then I began to use a dictionary. I would simply let it open on it's own and then the first word I saw I would write MY short interpretation of the meaning of the word. Each word somehow led to another word and definition and on and on. And then at what ever point I would simply stop writing down words and definitions. THEN I would draw from these words and write. The only problem with that process is the fact that apparently I did not fully understand the meaning of many of these words. It took me finding this VERY site and a couple of genuinely HONEST people that were telling the truth when they said they were my friends for me to learn that the words I was using were inappropriate...(you have NO idea what that meant to me...I've been writing since I was 14 and NO ONE ever cared enough to bother!) I could never express truly how grateful I am. Nobody WANTS to look like a fool, ya know.

I'm sorry I've gotten away from what I really wanted to say here...I never knew that what I was doing was called, "Word Weaving." I just thought I was your average moron that THOUGHT I could write...AND was fortunate enough to have true friends that helped to keep me in my place. But thank you for teaching me that my random writing is not so stupid after all.

I truly hope that you stay around. And yea...I suppose that IS because you were nice enough to respond to my post here. Your kindness, to me, shows heart, appreciation for others.

THAT!!!! is precisely the type of people I WANT to call friend!
